Despite stringent health & safety standards over 50% of UK road workers reported a near miss with a vehicle and the large majority of injuries or fatalities occur within designated safety areas.
The Safelane project brings together a consortium consisting of industry leaders in health & safety technology; electronics and device management systems as well as world class R&D organisations from several European countries.
The Safelane project will build on the succesfull Intellicone technology developed by Highway Resource Solutions. Intellicone is an easy to us roadworker safety perimeter system that has won several awards in the UK.
